Auto Workers for Trump founder Brian Pannebecker and Promethean Action’s Michael Steger keynoted the second Michigan Town Hall on Trump’s economic revolution in Macomb County, MI on June 21.
This is the county that delivered for Trump in 2016 and turned out big in 2024, and is at the heart of machine tool manufacturing in Michigan.
Susan Kokinda, the Coalitions Vice Chair for the Michigan Republican Party opened the meeting by noting that 70,000 manufacturing jobs had been lost in the county since NAFTA was adopted.
Pannebecker, who was one of the key figures in bringing Trump to Macomb in 2016, stressed the importance of a single individual in affecting elections, drawing on his own experience which has put him at Donald Trump’s side in various appearances.
He and Steger drilled down on the importance of the 2026 midterm elections. Steger also pointed to Macomb County as ground zero in this fight, and stressed that campaigning around the successes of Trump’s economic revival and his peace-based foreign policy would be key to taking the county and winning the state.
The audience included 3 Macomb County precinct delegates who had never attended a meeting before, as well as a mother and her 15 year old daughter who had met us at a post office deployment the week before. The daughter is already excited about working in manufacturing or at a skilled trades job.
Promethean Action’s Susan Kokinda addressed a precinct delegate meeting of the Jackson County (Michigan) Republican Party on June 18 and found a strong response to the challenge of organizing around Donald Trump’s revival of the American System and the principles which underlie it.
Kokinda was invited in her capacity as Vice Chair for Coalitions of the Michigan Republican Party, but many of the leaders and activists in Jackson follow her Promethean Action YouTube videos closely.
As soon as she walked in, one of the organizers grabbed her and said, “you said something last week on your video and a number of us have questions about it.” Many in the audience already receive the Promethean Action newsletter.
The wide-ranging discussion, after her presentation, covered questions about the inability of young people to own a home and how to deal with the Federal Reserve.
The next night, 30 activists from Michigan and the Midwest took up similar questions, with a particular focus on producing a new piece of literature which will highlight the difference between Trump’s New Republican Party and the old “Republican Wing of the Uniparty.”
We noticed that the Trumpers were feeling themselves in the minority and hiding in their foxholes. However, they were all the more happy to see the Promethean Action table and signs out loud and proud.
One lady took pictures and insisted on signing up on the spot for a monthly membership. Another long-time associate reestablished contact and made a donation. The anti-Trumpers were many, but rather subdued.
This deployment was on the first day of the Israeli military attack on Iran. We had our "Stop World War III--Go Trump" sign, but most of the discussions were on domestic policy--the American System, taking down the Deep State/British Empire, and keeping President Trump alive.
Trump supporters were very happy and surprised to encounter our organizers in this Democrat majority town. One couple with five kids wanted advice on how to teach their children about the American System. This led to a discussion about the American System and history, and the available books by Promethean authors.
Another man was very happy to meet the organizers, saying he had followed physical economist Lyndon LaRouche for a many years. A young guy from Florida was totally surprised to meet Trump supporters in California; he readily signed up and gave all his cash. Turns out, he was a classical music and opera fan, which led to a further discussion on the culture wars at the center of the political wars as elaborated by Lyndon LaRouche.
A woman from San Francisco couldn't believe people could be out publicly supporting Trump without some terrible consequences. She was happy to learn that pathetic verbal attacks from those afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome were the worst that could happen. And one woman came up proudly declaring that she follows the Promethean Action website.
Orange County, a once solidly conservative area, has drifted politically over the past few decades, due to demographic change, the general cultural decay, and a Republican Party largely stuck in the old Wall St./Country Club paradigm.
The team from Promethean Action is mobilizing people to get more engaged in the battle President Trump is waging to revive a manufacturing economy, clean out the “deep state” moles in the government and other institutions, and bring peace to war-torn areas of the world. In tandem, we are working to spread a deeper understanding of the founding principles of the country.
This has definitely resonated with many people we have spoken to at locations from the Huntington Beach pier to post office areas of Anaheim Hills and San Juan Capistrano. We also had a very productive house meeting organized by a couple in the LDS church who wanted their friends in the church to be introduced to the ideas of Promethean Action.
Promethean Action organizers attended the local SW Houston Pachyderm Republican Club on June 11. We brought some life into a program which otherwise reflected a demoralized state of mind.
We focused people on the battle being waged for the future by President Trump. We distributed our flyer on the Big Beautiful Bill and made a short presentation calling on everyone to mobilize to get it passed by the U.S. Congress.
We challenged candidates in attendance to identify how their success in an election would help build the manufacturing superpower President Trump is organizing. This led to some awkward moments, as candidates searched for some safe ground to land on, having been knocked off their platitudinal talking points. All want to stay in contact with us.
Such interactions certainly reminded the Promethean organizers of the challenge we have to find and develop good candidates. We plan to do just that.
