Promethean Organizers at the Detroit Labor Day March
Promethean organizers distributed the "New Republican Party is Rising" flyers on September 1st, at the annual Detroit Labor March. The march concluded with a large rally and speakers next to the famous "Michigan Central" railroad station. We spoke to members of the Teamsters, the UAW, Ironworkers, Steelworkers, Building Trades, and other industrial unions, as well as many others at the parade.

Report to Michigan 13th CD on the Labor Day organizing
Toni Sellers of Promethean Action attended the meeting of 13th Congressional District Republicans, which includes the Detroit area. The 13th CD has produced 10,000 copies of the "New Republican Party" flyer under their own auspices. Sellers gave a report on the distribution of the flyer by Promethean organizers at the Detroit Labor Day parade.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Shane Trejo's "Grand New Party" PAC co-sponsored an event with Promethean Action in Southfield, MI (near Detroit), on the subject of "Let's Talk Tariffs."
Shane Trejo emceed the event. The speakers were Mike Steger, candidate for U.S. Congress in Michigan's 11th CD, and James Benson of "Auto Workers for Trump." Both gave very good introductory presentations, followed by an extensive Q&A session.

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the Wayne County 6th Congressional District held a summer event at the local Italian-American Club in Livonia, MI (near Detroit). Fifty "MAGA" Republicans had assembled there under the leadership of their new chair, Heather Smiley, a very strong collaborator in the Trump cause.

One of the half-dozen speakers was Toni Sellers of Promethean PAC, who delivered an excellent two-minute presentation on Promethean PAC's 1/2 page leaflets on the New Trump Republican Party, including how to order the flyers on the PAC's website, how to use them, etc. The response was very good, and a number of new political contacts were made.

Recruiting patriots in Castro Valley, CA
On Friday, August 22, two Promethean organizers displayed the flag and recruited some feisty patriots in Castro Valley, CA. Most people were happy to see us, but there were a few enraged unfortunates.
We signed up a union sprinkler fitter, an IT engineer who is an immigrant from Africa, a forester, and a retired iron worker. Three people met were already in our network of subscribers.
One woman wanted a sign against Governor "Newscum’s" gerrymandering plan. We didn’t have one for her, but we did have a flier on the subject taken from the Promethean Action website.

Mindy Pechenuk: Bring the National Guard into Oakland
Mindy Pechenuk, candidate for Mayor of Oakland, CA has issued a statement calling on President Trump to bring the National Guard into Oakland.
"Oakland is in free fall, ravaged by Mayor Barbara Lee’s catastrophic leadership. The brazen smash-and-grab attacks on two Chinatown banks and a jewelry store in Little Saigon in broad daylight scream of a city abandoned to lawlessness. Crime must be stopped NOW, lives and businesses are being lost. Mindy Pechenuk calls on President Trump to deploy the National Guard now to save our city and all Oaklanders."
On August 21st, Pechenuk attended a rally of citizens supporting deploying the National Guard in Oakland, as was suggested by President Trump.

Organizing for Trump Economics in Houston, Texas
As part of their organizing in the Houston Hispanic community, Peter Bowen and Evelyn Lantz attended several monthly meetings of the Saturday Menudo Club. We've been circulating the Promethean PAC flyer on the New Republican Party of Trump. We spoke to a City Councilman about Trump's plans for the investment of $100's of millions of dollars coming to Houston. He expressed interest and invited us to his office for further discussion.
On Monday, August 25th, Bowen and Brian Lantz met with the Councilman. Bowen expanded on his remarks about Trump's intention to build a new Republican Party based on the growth of the U.S. into a manufacturing superpower.
Lantz reviewed the extensive research he has done into Trump's policy development as a remaking of the 19th century American System. He presented an eight page extract of the research he has been doing on promised manufacturing investments for Houston and the need to prepare the young workforce with advanced training. Upon looking the report over for a few minutes, the Councilman said, "This is exactly what I need. I can't thank you enough for bringing this discussion to me. Let's keep it going!"
Promethean Action is Going Back to Washington, D.C.
Promethean Action organizers will be going to Washington, D.C. during the week of October 4th. We will be following up on our trip last March, meeting with as many Congressmen, Senators, and staff as we can.
The political landscape in the country has changed since March. Promethean PAC has been circulating its new flyer, "Main Street Not Wall Street: A New Republican Party Is Rising." We will be talking to the Representatives about how they should get on board with the New Republican Party and support the economic policies of President Trump.
