Promethean organizers attended the Lansing, MI vigil for Turning Point, USA leader Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated on September 10, while speaking at his TPUSA event at Utah Valley University. Charlie was engaged in a Q and A session with students, discussing politics, philosophy, religion, and other ideas. He was a towering figure in American conservative politics, especially among young people. He was a friend to President Trump and the whole administration.

Chairman of the Michigan GOP, Jim Runestad, delivered a memorial speech, saying that Charlie Kirk was killed because he was effective, persuasive, and unafraid. That's the feeling that the attendees had, and they want to continue to spread Charlie's message.

We talked to many people of all ages who were affected by Charlie's message to always seek the truth. He was a great man of faith and he stood up for Biblical Christian values. People told us that, for the first time in years, they went to church, they read the Bible. They discussed ideas with their friends and families.
Carrying on Charlie's legacy: be saved, be involved
We distributed copies of the Promethean Action pamphlet, A Police Dossier: It is the British Who Murder Our Presidents. People were waiting in line to get a copy and discuss ideas. Charlie Kirk's legacy of dialogue will be remembered for years to come.

Kokinda Tells Michigan Delegates: Trump is Challenging the Whole System
On September 13, Susan Kokinda addressed the D2 Republican Committee (representing Michigan’s Second Congressional District), along with former gubernatorial candidate and J6er Ryan Kelly, and 3 candidates for State Senate. Each of the candidates reflected on Charlie Kirk’s legacy and method of dialogue. Current State Representative Gina Johnson, now running for State Senate, spoke of her participation at a vigil at Michigan State University, and how important it was for the older generation to support these young people who “have now been given permission to think.”
Kokinda stressed the significance of President Trump’s remarks that the way to unify the country, in the wake of the assassination, would be by the success of his policies. Kokinda said that that would be measured by the Trump Administration’s commitment to replace the current system with one that serves working people, citing Trump’s attacks on the Federal Reserve. Several people came up to her afterward and said their curiosity was piqued by her reference to the Fed. Most of the audience got copies of the half-page flyer, "Main Street Not Wall Street," being distributed by Promethean PAC, and many took extras.
Detroit Republican Party Day at Wayne State
Wayne State College Republicans hosted "Detroit Republican Party" Day on September 16, featuring Alexandria Taylor, chair of the 13th CD Republican Party which includes Detroit, and Promethean Action's Susan Kokinda, speaking as Coalitions Vice Chair of the party.

The Wayne State College Republicans are led by Tyler Campbell, who is also chair of the statewide Michigan College Republicans and who had given a moving speech the day before at a vigil for Charlie Kirk at the State Capitol.
Kokinda challenged those in attendance to think through the deeper principles of the Republican Party, as Socrates had challenged the youth of his time, and for which he, like Charlie Kirk, was killed. Taylor, a former Democrat, picked up the theme from the standpoint of thinking about how to talk to and recruit layers not already in our camp.

Houston Meeting - Charlie Kirk: Living in the sublime
Promethean Action Texas and Friends of Trump held an online meeting on Thursday, September 18 to discuss Charlie Kirk and the quality of the sublime.
Dan Leach gave a presentation on the world in which we are living in the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. It is obvious to all that something profound is happening culturally, politically and spiritually with the greatest implications for the future of our nation, even humanity. But what is it, actually? And how do we understand and use it to shape a victory in the war we are engaged in?
Classical art provides a guide not only in how to think about these things, but the spiritual strength to persevere in the fight. Dan discussed this quality from the standpoint of the poet Friedrich Schiller in his essay, "On The Sublime."
We also discussed our upcoming trip to Washington DC the first week of October, to visit the office of every Congressman and Senator and organize for the new Republican Party of Trump going forward to 2026 and beyond. More on that in the next newsletter!
Harris County, TX: Returning to the Roots of the Republican Party.
Promethean organizers Peter Bowen and Evelyn Lantz attended the meeting of precinct chairs of the Harris County (Houston) Republican Party. Bowen introduced a resolution, "Supporting the Call to the Republican Party to Return to Its Roots as the Party of Industry, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Workers."
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Harris County Republican Party of Texas embraces the call to return to our roots as the Party of Industry, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Workers;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Harris County Republican Party of Texas calls upon our members and supporters to prioritize candidates that likewise embrace the call for the Republican Party to return to its roots and champion our commitment to be the party of working United States citizens.
The resolution passed unanimously. We distributed the Promethean PAC flyer on the New Republican Party. We also talked to many people who were affected by the work of Charlie Kirk and expressed interest in continuing his work to recruit young people to these ideas.

Promethean organizers visited Napa, CA, heart of the wine country, and engaged in numerous fruitful discussions, despite a few whiners. We told people about our upcoming trip to the U.S. Congress and the urgency of everyone taking responsibility to ensure that the Trump revolution succeeds.
Many people driving by honked and gave thumbs up, and several signed up and contributed. One woman who signed up was originally from Mexico and was very pro-Trump. She was upset about how watered down the citizenship test has become, and she was furious at the flag burners. "Why don't they go back to where they came from if they don't respect this flag?"
A deranged anti-Trumper showed up late in the day with a sign, hoping to disorganize people. One woman was so angered by his antics that she shouted him down and came over and signed up with us. A very lively time was had by all!
