Ideas of Lyndon LaRouche and Trump's Policies
Kokinda talked about the genesis of Promethean Action, as an outgrowth of the movement initiated by Lyndon LaRouche, an anti-establishment maverick Presidential candidate. With Donald Trump, we saw the great potential for realizing many of the policies we've been fighting for, especially economic sovereignty and ending the forever wars.
Meaning of Memorial Day
Kokinda and Scott had an extensive dialogue about the Memorial Day weekend events and speeches by President Trump and Vice President Vance. The theme that resounded was perhaps stated best by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth: "What we owe to these men is peace."
Discussion continued about the recent history of regime change wars vs. Trump's policy of peace and development. Mr. LaRouche always advocated for the economic development of all nations. That is the real mission of America.

Mindy Pechenuk, candidate for Mayor of Oakland, CA, was the featured guest on The Jason J Daniel Show! on May 21. She announced her candidacy against the newly-elected Mayor Barbara Lee, who Pechenuk describes as a disaster for Oakland.
As I announced on May 12, 2025, I am already an announced candidate for the Oakland Mayoral election of 2026.
Many people in Oakland have asked me for my assessment of what a Barbara Lee Mayoral term would mean for Oakland. I repeat here what I said in my statement, January 6, 2025 during my recent campaign for Oakland Mayor 2025. I said then BARBARA LEE IS PART OF THE PROBLEM SHE IS NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION.
Pechenuk introduced herself as a veteran warrior for the good, a Classical musician, a colleague of Lyndon LaRouche for 50 years, and a supporter of President Trump. "I love Oakland and we can save it from the hands of people who want to destroy it."
The Next Generation
Daniels asked her what inspired her to run again. "I got a great response from people," she said. "I could see people changing. We're all created by God. Most people want to do good." He asked her is there hope? "Yes, that's why I'm running. People are human. I'm in this fight for the next generation."
Can Oakland Go Red?
The last question was: can Oakland go red? "Yes, I've seen a lot of potential. Look what Trump is doing. He's bringing back the American spirit. Don't be afraid to try something different, if what you're doing isn't working. This is the time of our lives. Let's do something that succeeds. We need revolutionary thinking like the founding fathers. Stand up for what is right. and have fun."
Daniels agreed, saying, "We need someone who believes in common sense. You're the only person I know who runs for office and talks about love."
Future Round Table Discussions
They agreed to have a series of round table discussions with independent media and social media. Daniels ended by saying, "Thank you - you're my hero!"
At the local SW Houston Pachyderm Republican Club on May 21, Promethean Action organizers reported on the campaign to pull the willing out of the British imperial economic insanity of free trade. This is an urgent necessity to put the focus on President Trump's intent to grow us out of debt. We made conscious that Trump is drawing on the real American System founded by Alexander Hamilton.
Taking on the Establishment GOP Leadership
This report occurred in the midst of discussion of the failure of GOP leadership to take the initiative to bring Trump's program to the independent voter and "soft" Democrat. The regional leader of a coalition of conservative Republican Clubs insisted that elected Party officials were irrelevant. The locals clubs, he said, can coordinate their efforts to replace that Party leadership.
Candidate Against Congressman Al Green
To the delight of most in the room, a previously unannounced candidate for Congress, to replace the despicable Al Green of the 9th CD in Houston, introduced himself as a serious candidate. Mr. Wilmer is a mortgage banker who, by his advocacy of Deep Tunnel solutions to flooding, construction of high speed trains, and other necessary improvements in infrastructure, made clear his support for President Trump's rebuilding of American manufacturing.
Promethean Action Texas and Friends of Trump held its biweekly online meeting on May 22. The theme: Don't be frightened or fooled by the propaganda about the OUT OF CONTROL Deficit and the ALARMING Government Debt.
President Trump and the American System
Despite numerous so-called Biden actions aimed at trapping us in debt to Britain's imperial global system, our ship of state is plowing through the breakers, with President Trump at the helm. Waves of increasing debt are being pushed aside as our ship is steered to an explosion of domestic industrial investment. Trump, like Alexander Hamilton, knows must you produce your way out of debt.
Trump's Big Beautiful Bill
Brian Lantz gave a battlefield report on the "Big Beautiful Bill." He presented many facts and figures about the GDP vs. the real economy, much of which is documented in his Physical Economics Substack.
Trump vs. the Establishment GOP
The oligarchy is trying to put the big squeeze on Trump and his team to derail the bill. Examples are the Moody's downgrade of the U.S. credit rating, and the judiciary with their universal injunctions. These are the "old time" Republicans feeding at Wall Street's trough.
It's Up to the American Citizens
During the Q and A, it was emphasized that it is up to us, the citizens, to become proactive with our elected officials. We have to hold our Congress accountable to back Trump's initiatives.
The California Promethean teams took on the crowds at an upscale supermarket in the East Bay for two days in a row, going into the Memorial Day weekend. As expected we drew sneers and repeats of the latest round of TDS media attacks on Trump. But, there were a good number of serious people who realize we can’t slack off—now is the time to fight.
Responses to Trump's Economic Policy
For example, a working-class couple, splurging a bit by going to a supermarket frequented by the nominally well-to-do, stopped on their way out to talk – and made the largest donation of the first day! They took seriously the potential with Trump to get the manufacturing economy going again.
