Ron Kokinda, Promethean-PAC-endorsed candidate for State Representative in Michigan's House District 2, spoke at two events which featured Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib, whose recent endorsement of Donald Trump has accelerated the shift of Arab and Muslim Americans in Michigan into the Trump camp. Ghalib is visiting communities such as his own, Hamtramck on October 25, and Melvindale (which is in Kokinda's district) on October 27, which have large Arab and Muslim communities, to engage in dialogue over his reasons for endorsing Trump and what his direct engagement with Trump means for such communities. Besides the strong agreement on faith, family and core American values with Republicans, the discussions are focused on the war in the Mideast, and Trump's commitment to peace.
At both events, Kokinda located the various crises as stemming from the essential conflict between two images of man: the imperial image, which treats man as an animal or a slave, and that of our Founders, who created a government to protect and foster man as in the image of the Creator. Understanding that conflict allows one to see that the real enemy is the modern day British Empire, and that peace in the Middle East will not come until that Empire is destroyed. A second Trump presidency represents the potential to do that, and that is why Trump continues to be a target of assassination.
Kokinda continues to be in active dialogue with key organizers in the very large Michigan Arab/Muslim community and is getting significant support for his campaign. His two speaking events bracketed Donald Trump's appearance in Novi, MI on October 26, during which Mayor Ghalib, a Detroit area Imam and other Arab and Muslim leaders endorsed Donald Trump.
