Promethean Action was at President Trump’s First 100 Days rally in Warren, MI, on April 29. Located in Macomb County, about 20 miles north of Detroit, the area is heavily connected to the American auto industry, whose workforce supported Trump in the elections.
Our organizers set up two displays at the event, and also talked to people standing in the line. Signs on our tables included: "There is a New Tariff in Town," "Donald Can't Do It Alone," a giant blow-up of our "20 Promises" of the GOP Platform half-page flyer, "Build, Baby, Build!" and “Think Like Einstein – Be Creative.”
We attracted lots of attention, spoke to hundreds of people, and signed up many new people for our emails. We distributed our flyers: "Donald Trump's American System Revolution" and “Tariffs and Credit – We Do Not Want a Cheap Nation,” and other materials. Many people wanted to take photos with our signs.
Everyone we spoke with was invited to our 3 upcoming "Let's Talk About Tariffs" Town Hall meetings in the Detroit area. Our friend and ally Brian Pannebecker's team of Auto Workers for Trump lined up near our organizing table for a briefing by Pannebecker, and everyone took a flyer about the Tariff Town Halls.
We had a number of engaging discussions. For many people, it was their first Trump rally. Groups of young people were interested in our sign about Einstein. A local leader of Teamsters for Trump signed up. Two middle-aged ladies who work in the auto plants wanted advice on how to deal with the "TDS" types. People in the line were interested in our leaflets, including one man who worked for 44 years building machine tools.
Susan Kokinda of Promethean Action conducted an amazing interview, last week, with Brian Pannebecker, founder of Auto Workers for Trump, a key force in President Trump's November victory in Michigan.
Trump's tariffs will revitalize American manufacturing
They discussed Pannebecker's activism and the impact of tariff policies on the economy, particularly for blue-collar workers. He shared his experiences organizing rallies at auto plants and how tariffs can help bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. The conversation touched on economic nationalism, the new Republican Party Platform, and President Trump's strategy for revitalizing American manufacturing.
Trade Union Republicans
Pannebecker is calling for a movement of Trade Union Republicans, which will hold the key in many states to keeping control over Congress in 2026.
The comments on the video reflect how citizens are being activated:
"Great Interview of another patriot. As a lifelong metro Detroiter, I watched Detroit implode. You don't have to be a futurist to see that if jobs go overseas for products we need here, the only ones to benefit are the crooks who set it up. What if we had built plants in China and taught the Chinese a domestic auto industry for Chinese? And we get a piece of the action. No. It's all about cheap labor. If the People win 2026 and 2028, I think we can afford to rename the MAGA Republican party The Democratic Republican Party and win in 2030 and beyond."
"What a great podcast! I lived in Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan and wrote industrial systems software during my career. I admired the work ethic of Midwesterners in industry. So glad to see the auto industry and auto workers getting their due for working hard to build great American cars. I've only ever owned GMs and Fords. It's a Godsend having President Trump with a good heart to prosper this business and the people like Bryan (sic) who made their lives working it.'"
Promethean Action organizers in Monroe, MI debuted a new sign: "There's a New Tariff in Town," showing the sheriff, President Trump, riding into town on a horse!
Reflecting on Trump's first 100 days, people are excited and optimistic, in spite of the lies in the failing legacy media. Most Americans are showing their ability to come to their own conclusions.
How tariffs will work
People come up to our table, telling us that the fight isn't over yet. They want to know about these tariffs and how they work. We often hear, "I don't understand tariffs, but I trust Trump more than I do the media." One lady even said, "The tariffs are hurting my business, but I love Trump anyway." Asked if she got her supplies from China, she said, "Yes, but I'll put up with the tariffs if it helps the rest of the economy."
Once again, Promethean organizers plowed the political fields of the California Central Valley. The area from Stockton and Lodi south to Modesto, Merced and Madera is heavily agricultural, with related and other industries.
Much of the rural population is pro-Trump, but the cities have become infected with some of the crazy new-age culture, climate change religion, and related insanities. Two of the Congressional districts, which were hotly contested last year and went to Democrats by a slim margin, are in the crosshairs already for 2026.
Promethean Action is working to deepen people’s understanding of American System economics and how to effectively fight the menace of the Globalist/British imperialists.
A retired teacher, who is an avid reader, made a significant donation and took a pile of literature, including Bob Ingraham’s book, The Modern Anglo-Dutch Empire. Another woman, who had heard from friends about our deployment at a nearby town a month ago, had been on the lookout for us and eagerly signed up. A contractor, who initially said he had no money, said after a compelling briefing, “Well, I do have a hundred dollar bill in my truck that I keep for emergencies.” He retrieved it and donated.
Generally, people are aware that the Dems are going to do everything they can to stop Trump. Nobody was complaining about the tariffs, and the local anti-Trumpers were much quieter and milder than what is encountered in the Bay Area.
The Vietnamese community in Houston, TX, held a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon on Sunday, April 27. Evelyn Lantz attended as a VIP guest, both as part of a Republican Party delegation and as a representative of Promethean Action. About 300 people were in attendance, including elected officials, representatives of the seven countries that fought in the war, American and Vietnamese veterans.
This anniversary would have been a very sad event, had it come a year or two earlier. However, it came as President Trump was wrapping up his first 100 days and there was a sense of optimism and patriotism in the mood of those in attendance. It was a beautiful commemoration. People honored the past, but were able to view the future with hope.
Promethean Action/Texas and Friends for Trump held an online meeting on April 24 to discuss the future that President Trump is building. Brian Lantz elaborated on his recent article in his Physical Economics Substack, "Our Workforce: A Sleeping Giant?"
With all the hooting and hollering in the press about how President Trump's tariff policy is destroying the U.S. economy, if you suspect that it is only the financial bubble that is being threatened, you would be right.
America: a manufacturing superpower
Now, we are on the road back to being a manufacturing superpower. The real problem is: how do we awaken the sleeping giant, the American workforce, which we need to build and run such a manufacturing superpower? How does the USA promote the multiplication of creative, task-oriented, productive Americans, particularly among our struggling generations of young people?
A Space CCC
Brian Lantz has proposed a Space CCC, which was submitted to the President's American Workforce Policy Advisory Board in May 2020.
Education and human creativity
The discussion involved several first-time attendees and the head of a local Woman's Republican Club. A key topic was education, with home schoolers and an educator on the call. At times, it became very philosophical, such as whether AI can replace human creativity (it cannot). As Lantz emphasized, God placed us here to change the physical world around us, not only for today, but also for future generations. That will broadly restore a sense of sanity again. As is stated in Ecclesiastes: God's gift to man is Work.
The role of women
The concluding discussion was on the role of women in the workforce. Society will always need the Marie Curies, but the role of being a mother is one of the most important to the future of the nation. Now the future is bright again with Trump and his team stepping in to promote a future!
