On Tuesday we framed the midterm fight: Iowa’s planned ~$15 billion Mesabi Metallics mill in Lee County, the separate Minnesota Nashwauk iron-ore mine already producing, and the rest of the economic revolution the media refuses to connect. Mine to mill. Tariffs as industrial policy. Productive identity — not service-economy chatter.
Then Wednesday, Trump put another brick on the same wall.
At the White House he unveiled a South Korea energy package under the prior trade deal — Alaska LNG (wires cite roughly $54 billion), a massive Texas gas-fired plant, and a slate of nuclear builds.
Same pattern as Monday’s Iowa steel event: foreign capital pulled into American physical capacity in states that matter before November 3.
