Saturday Class - Meet the Young Leaders Organizing Michigan Campuses! - October 17, 2026
Four young organizers took the American System onto Michigan campuses. Hear what Gen Z said, what they found undercover, and the challenge they're putting to you.
In this week's Saturday Class, host Tony Papert did something different. He handed the class over to four young organizers who have spent the past month working Michigan campuses for Promethean Action.
Tony framed the stakes plainly. It will be up to the next generation to continue the revolution launched with Donald Trump over the past decade. So what do these young people want, and what do they see in their future?
Meet the Team
Michael Rush has been with Promethean Action since 2022. Michael Christensen came from Utah. He found Promethean Action this spring and skipped a semester of school to join the Michigan deployment.
Jordan Hildebrandt is a software developer who double majored in English and computer science. Ellie Burrage, from Florida, was raised liberal and voted for Hillary in 2016. She says she is trying to make up for it.
Why give up months of their lives for this? Each one answers in the video, and their answers are worth hearing in their own voices.
I sincerely believe that what I'm doing on a daily basis is some of the most effective work I may ever do for my country.
— Michael Christensen
The Bad News First
The team opened by laying out what the empire has done to their generation. Its oldest weapon is divide and conquer, and with Gen Z the method has been to isolate young people from each other.
Michael Christensen compared it to solitary confinement in prisons. Then he read the documented effects of solitary confinement on prisoners and asked the audience whether they recognize them in young people today. That list will stop you cold, so watch at 13:00.
Then came a statistic most people have never heard. Michael did the math on what it means for America's birth rate. Watch at 26:15.
More than thirty percent of Gen Z Americans were aborted.

The Third Option
Now for the good news. On campus, the team set up signs reading "Trump is a visionary, prove me wrong," and students came up ready to fight.
The team found the key that unlocks those conversations. Young people have been programmed to hate capitalism, but nobody has programmed them to hate something they have never heard of. Jordan explains exactly how the conversation turns. Watch at 53:00.
We get to defend productive capitalism or the American system, and nobody's heard of that before.
— Jordan Hildebrandt
Then there is the young woman who walked by, flipped them off and laughed at them. A couple of hours later, she came back. What she said when she returned is one of the most hopeful moments of the whole class. Watch at 56:50.
Jordan's conclusion is simple. "Promethean Action has the right message," he said. "The American system is such an open doorway."
"Kevin Nowak" Goes Undercover
Michael Rush had six students yelling at him at once, and he stood his ground. But that is not his best story.
He also went undercover inside Democratic campaign operations under the name "Kevin Nowak." We won't spoil what he found or what he did with the flyers they handed him. Just know that it was a mission to gather intelligence on the enemy, and it is hilarious. Watch at 1:10:15.
The team's operational bywords are hope and optimism. As Jordan put it, the key to winning is to refuse to be demoralized.
You cannot defeat happy warriors.
— Jordan Hildebrandt
Ellie's Challenge to You
The class ends with a direct call to action, and it is aimed at you. Ellie lays out simple steps anyone can take, starting with an easy "level one" and going all the way to organizing your own group on a campus near you.
So this is my challenge: go share these ideas with the young people in your life. Talk to people.
The full class has much more. You will hear the Harry Potter line that sums up the enemy's mentality, what the team learned when they asked students about the American dream, and the strange campaign idea the Democrats think will win over young voters.
Watch the full class on YouTube, then send it to a young person in your life. It may be the first time they hear about the American System.

America went from candles and the horse and buggy to telephones, cars and airplanes, in one lifetime. Bob Ingraham shows how tariffs and Hamiltonian credit did it, and why the same tools, back in play today, can do it again.
Why “super” and not “artificial”? Brian Lantz shows SI at work in an Arizona copper mine, aimed at a nuclear-powered Moon, and in service of new forms of human creativity. Watch the full class.
Two conductors. One score. Two opposite ideas of man. This week's Class puts Furtwängler against Toscanini — and tonal against atonal. The fight over your ear is the fight for your children's future.
Bob takes on the slanders against Alexander Hamilton and the British-finance axioms most Americans still carry — and why Hamilton's bank is not the Fed.
