Susan on Bessent naming IRGC accounts in the British Virgin Islands — the real target is the offshore money machine, not just Iran. Syria sanctions lifted, the Mecca Pact, Russia at the G20, and China on Iran.
Susan Kokinda argues that Scott Bessent’s warning about IRGC accounts in the British Virgin Islands and his “cut the snake’s head off” image were aimed at London’s offshore money machine, not just Iran. She maps the BVI and Hong Kong as City of London nodes, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum’s push to shift energy choke points back to the Western Hemisphere, the State Department lifting Syria sanctions, the Mecca Joint Defense Alliance, and Trump’s Board of Peace against Britain’s perpetual-conflict game. The episode closes with Russia’s finance minister at the U.S.-hosted G20, Bessent’s one-on-one with Moscow, and his claim that Washington and Beijing have more in common on Iran than they disagree on.
