The Saturday Wrap-Up - Donald Trump's Victorious Ode to the American System - September 7, 2024
In his speech at the New York Economic Club, Donald Trump showed how a new sovereign wealth fund dedicated to large scale physical economic modernization and other investments can once again create prosperity for the US.
We once knew how to create prosperity. Hamilton, Lincoln, McKinley, Roosevelt all used a variant of the American System. In his speech at the New York Economic Club, Donald Trump showed how a new sovereign wealth fund dedicated to large scale physical economic modernization and other investments can do this again. This will be coupled with tariffs and tax policies aimed at making us a manufacturing superpower again while increasing the wealth of all our citizens. That and ending the forever wars which threaten us and the rest of humanity. Otherwise we cover Russiagate 2.0, the lawfare battlefront, and the disasters unfolding in both Ukraine and Israel.

Transcript: The Weekend Wrap-Up - Donald Trump's Victorious Ode to the American System - September 7, 2024
Barbara Boyd: [00:00:00] Hi everybody. This is your Saturday Wrap for September 7th, 2024. It's been a very eventful week. Donald Trump gave a major economic speech in New York at the New York Economic Club. Which has not been covered honestly anywhere that I can see, so we'll try and do a little bit of the coverage here and then we're going to do a major piece on it to be posted on Promethean Action and Promethean PAC in the next 24 hours.
It was a full throated endorsement of what is known in history as the American system of economy. It was founded by Alexander Hamilton, used by Lincoln and Roosevelt, perfected in many respects by Lyndon LaRouche, and it's the means to get us out of the present economic crisis. So, I'll provide some of the headlines below and direct you to watch for a posting on our sites [00:01:00] coming soon.
The other news events of the week so called prove emphatically that the current elites are incapable of creativity or inventing anything new. The Department of Justice has resurrected, just on time, another round of Russiagate for the last 60 days heading into this election. It is absurd, as absurd, as the first go around, or more, and echoes the one observation of Karl Marx which has survived not being proven totally false in subsequent history.
That is, that events in history often occur twice. The first time as tragedy, the second as farce. So, the big claim here is that RT, the Russian broadcasting station, barred in the United States, somehow managed to funnel 10 million to a broadcasting company in Tennessee called Tenet Broadcasting, without [00:02:00] disclosing that they were the source of the funds, which then in turn hired some conservative, well known podcasters and broadcasters, including Tim Poole, Dave Rubin, Benny Johnson, never telling them that they were actually being funded by RT to present in his claim so called pro Russian viewpoints, although they never really were told what to present and they didn't know a damn thing about the indictment.
It's clearly an effort to smear them and anybody, as we've said in the post on Promethean Action to anybody who opposes the war in Ukraine or supports Donald Trump.
Similarly, the American patriot, Dimitri Simes, now residing in Russia because he can't live here anymore, was indicted for violating sanctions along with his wife. A clear case, again, we've got a full post on this up on Promethean Action, of not allowing [00:03:00] this man to return to the United States, and initiate a very, important, Russian American dialogue, which actually might prevent a new war.
In the midst of all of this craziness, again, smearing Russia for allegedly being able to influence the United States for 10 million bucks, a piddling sum, when you compare it with what's shot at us about Russia every single day to the tune of billions and trillions, the whole thing is completely absurd.
Putin actually joked about it in a very funny way by endorsing Kamala Harris for president. Basically, he was joined at the same time in this endorsement by Dick Cheney. Putin's endorsement was obviously a joke. He said he found her laugh fascinating. Cheney's was not. It actually shows you what Kamala Harris is all about.
The lawfare battlefront was somewhat clarified [00:04:00] this week, with Judge Juan Merchan the New York judge, in the absurd, so called, hush money New York case, suddenly announcing that he did not want to seem political, and postponing Trump's scheduled September 8th sentencing until after the election. Our read, everything they are doing with lawfare has such a backfire potential that their conclusion was that sentencing Trump on the 18th, as scheduled, would be the final nail in the coffin of the Democrats for this election.
They backed off for that reason alone, not for some sudden discovery of a conscience or morality by this very rigged judge. In the J6 case, the judge I call the Jacobin jurist, Tanya Chutkan, has been somewhat handcuffed by the United States Supreme Court. That court knocked out most of the J6 indictment, which she was actually presiding over.
It doesn't [00:05:00] seem to impress her at all, as she spent an entire hearing this week snubbing her nose at the Supreme Court. She can't go forward, really, with a trial before the election, so instead, what she's done, as Julie Kelly elaborates in her various posts, is to set up a hearing schedule with maximum potential to smear Trump with prosecutorial BS before the election, talking over and over and over again about the so called insurrection, which never happened, on January 6, 2021.
On the other side of this war, Hunter Biden took a guilty plea in his tax case, hoping to avoid a total exposure of the Biden family's criminal dealings ahead of the election in his tax trial, which was supposed to start on Thursday in Los Angeles. The family's pay per play scheme with the American vice presidency involving corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs, the Chinese, and many other foreign powers [00:06:00] will not be a topic ahead of the election concerning this very corrupt presidency. Most people assume that there's some sort of back door deal with the intelligence community and others to ensure that Hunter never spends a day in jail.
The final press event of the week, of course, was the Trump press conference with the establishment media going nuts over the fact that he went to New York to actually hear the oral arguments and his appeal of this crazy case in which this woman, E. Jean Carroll seems to have prevailed through a crazy New York judge and jury concerning an incident some 30 years ago where she claims that much to her delight, Trump somehow sexually molested her right in the middle of Bloomingdale's department store.
This case is so absurd to be ridiculous. It should be obvious to everyone that it did not happen. So Trump spent a [00:07:00] great deal of time in a press conference afterwards bitching about the fact that this even occurred. The press now is taking all sorts of shots at him for saying that he's bemoaning and complaining once again about the things which have happened to him.
I think that what it portrays is the complete innocence of this man. People don't publicly express their hurt like this unless they truly are completely offended by something which never happened. Nonetheless, the media is taking their shots because the idea here is Trump is supposed to take it all and not complain.
To understand this better, it'd be a good idea for you to spend a little bit of time on the weekend by looking at the Tucker Carlson's event with Vivek Ramaswamy and RFK Jr. Discussing Trump and discussing why these guys have given up everything to come in and support him. [00:08:00] There's an old adage, first man through the door gets shot.
And they realize that Trump has taken the bullets for them and for all of this, and if they don't support him now, telling the truth won't matter, because we'll have a bureaucratic police state in which the truth is not allowed. They have themselves, of course, given up everything as part of the new youth cadre, or younger people, around Donald Trump, a bunch of original thinkers who actually now want to save this country. Elon Musk is, of course, among these people.
Concerning matters of war and peace this week in Ukraine, it is clear that many NATO trainers, including people from the U. S., Britain, Sweden, etc., were killed in the major Russian strike on the Ukrainian training center in Poltava, Ukraine, on Tuesday.
This was a mass casualty event, involving Russia's [00:09:00] superior hypersonic missiles with an estimated 500 NATO training staff killed and wounded amongst others. At the same time, the Ukrainian desperate intervention into Russia itself in Kursk is faltering. That's what's caused Russia to revise its nuclear doctrine, which insane people in Washington are trying to characterize now as yet another empty threat.
Russia continues to advance through the Donbass, which is their major strategic objective, and Ukraine is undergoing huge shakeups because it's very clear that they're on the path to total defeat. The only question is, can they hold this off until after the election?
In Israel, the war grinds on. So frustrated are the British and American elites with the permanent religious war their own actions created, that the Financial [00:10:00] Times of this morning features a joint statement by the head of MI6 and William Burns of the CIA, calling for a ceasefire and return of hostages, as if the intelligence community spooks, speaking now openly, coming out of the shadows and issuing a strong signal, threatens anything which will fundamentally change anything.
We're suffering from the dynamics created by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris destroying Trump's Abraham Accords. If you know the history of these types of statements by intelligence spooks, both Netanyahu and Sinwar would be wise to up their security arrangements to prevent assassinations.
Now for Trump's speech. This was a comprehensive attack on the causes of the inflation and soaring unsustainable federal deficit caused by Biden Harris policies. It was also a Trumpian declaration of war against the deep state, [00:11:00] which is bringing the world ever closer to nuclear obliteration. Something Trump emphasized throughout his hour long speech before the New York Economic Club.
That we are on the edge of a nuclear war caused by the Biden Harris policies in Ukraine and the Middle East. That he intends to get along with other nations, not go to war with them, as has been the Washington and British want for some time now. I would recommend that all of you who are watching this, spend the time over the weekend to internalize the gravity and new spirit for this country, which is embodied in this speech.
You'll see how different it is than the cheap shot giveaways and temporary handouts to ease your pain temporarily advocated by the Democrats, whose policies caused our present, disaster, economically. The Dems are trapped in their own automatic [00:12:00] assumptions. Their incompetent bureaucracies have embodied the dead thinking of an elite culture, which has abandoned any idea that they function with the mandate of heaven because of what they must do to advance a population, which they love, that's what makes Trump different, that mission for a population, which he loves.
Trump is charting a new and different path, and it is distinctly American, based on scientific and technological progress and wholly new ideas. Here are the basic highlights I will be featuring in a piece on this speech to be posted on Promethean Action soon. I'm just saying here the most striking bullet points.
He presented a detailed critique of where we stand under Biden Harris, including the fact that the U. S. labor force is in the process of being replaced by low skilled immigrant labor, a act meant to destroy the cohesiveness of our culture [00:13:00] and the United States as a nation state, the same policy which is destroying nation states all over the world.
That's not to mention the poisoning of our population with illegal drugs and the poisoning of our culture with rampant sex trafficking and surgical sex manipulation of our children, all part of the New Age globalist policies advocated by Biden and Harris.
Trump said that the cause of the present inflation is centered in the Green New Deal and its war on energy. Energy, of course, is a factor in every phase of the physical economy, in every good, it takes electricity, and its cost has to be factored into everything produced. The Green New Deal's war on fossil fuels, on coal fired plants, on any fuel source other than wind and solar has increased the cost of everything, as every production, as I just said, is dependent on cheap and abundant [00:14:00] energy.
Trump says he will pull us out of the Paris Climate Accord again. And issue an emergency declaration to advance production of all kinds of energy to lower this cost. Ripping up regulations that stand in the way, and developing new drilling for fossil fuels, new sources of energy, including most emphatically nuclear energy.
He plans to redirect the unspent funds in the so called Inflation Reduction Act to productive uses, building infrastructure, not charging stations for electric cars, and actually banning all electric car mandates. That act's crippling mandates and huge costs is seen by most, in conjunction with the rise of energy costs, as a cause of the present inflation, which is ripping apart most families.
Trump detailed the horrible impact of these Biden Harris policies in the first half of his speech. Trump's goal is to [00:15:00] make America a manufacturing superpower again. That he emphasized throughout the speech. The most powerful economy in the world, once again, where families can afford a house, a way of life that is prosperous for both themselves and their children. He wants to build impenetrable defenses for this country and end the role of the United States as policeman of the world for the oligarchy.
You can't do that, with the types of energy Biden and Harris want to saddle us with. They would drive the economy back to feudal times and continue the population reduction policy at the heart of the forever wars which have plagued our planet ever since World War II.
Trump will adopt many of the tax policies that JFK used to incentivize American production. Productive capital investments will receive favorable tax treatment in all categories, but only if their products are made in the United States. [00:16:00] A premium will be put on supporting new research and development. He's calling for Musk to head an efficiency audit of the entire U. S. economy to eliminate fraud and waste, now estimated to be in the trillions, and a major contributor to the inflationary crisis.
I'll take housing as one example of how he's going to use these policies. He called for a sovereign wealth fund, which many nations have, a state created financing and credit mechanism. The way Trump described this seemed to us to echo the nature and purpose of Hamilton's National Bank. That fund will devote itself to funding productive physical economic investments, like building whole new cities, and massive affordable new housing on prime federal lands presently not utilized for anything, among other places. Otherwise, interest rates on mortgages would [00:17:00] be cut, as well as regulations inhibiting the ability of builders to build. Overall, he wants to incentivize, in every kind of way, making us a manufacturing superpower again.
Buy America, build America, and with maximum use of tariffs to protect American products, and punitively use tariffs to prevent outsourcing. He spent a long time talking about William McKinley and his tariff policies and how they benefited the subsequent Teddy Roosevelt administration as a revenue source by which much of the present United States was built.
His message is that a productive economy lifts all boats because it allows for increases in social benefits while wiping out useless debt. He referenced the fact that RFK Jr. is going to have a major role in making America healthy again and that he's going to examine [00:18:00] the present healthcare system and the poisoning of our bodies, et cetera, through types of agricultural practices, which can be essentially changed and modified so that we have family farms again.
Look for our post. on the website soon, and also you'll get a short summary by Susan Kokinda, which is also talking about the difference between what Trump is proposing and the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025.
I just wanted to whet your appetite here. We'll see you again. on Monday. Until then, stay tuned. We are in momentous times. I'm really optimistic. That speech was really phenomenal. That's why you won't see it covered in depth anywhere else. Thanks very much for listening. See you again on Monday.
