Trump Just Put a Price on the Midterms: $5,000

AfD’s 43.8% win cracked Europe’s firewall. Trump’s $5,000 tariff dividend is on the table. Susan reported live from Dallas — 57 days out. Barbara’s assignment: 10–15 people to the polls.

Trump Just Put a Price on the Midterms: $5,000
President Trump participates in a Steel Across America event commemorating the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The "firewall" the German establishment built to keep the AfD out of power just cracked in Saxony-Anhalt — the math no longer works at 43.8%.

Meanwhile, Trump put a number on the midterms: a $5,000 tax-free tariff dividend to every adult American — if Republicans hold the House and Senate.

Susan Kokinda joined live from the Dallas midterm convention floor with 57 days to Election Day.

You are a participant in this big political process and you deserve some reward for actually fighting for the right policies.

Optimism is infectious. If you're optimistic, it rubs off on people. If you commiserate with them, you're just going to go down the same hole.

It's about two hours. Jump a chapter below. And take the assignment at the bottom — it's not optional this cycle.

REPLAY — Thursday, September 10th

Shareholders of America: The $5,000 Dividend

Trump laid it out in his own words: economic success driven by tariffs, paid back as a $5,000 dividend to every adult American — contingent on Republicans winning both chambers. JD Vance framed it as sharing the wealth American workers are creating.

Barbara's frame is the one to use at the door: America run like a successful corporation, where the shareholders are the American people — working and middle class first. You fought for the right policies; you deserve a return. The chat spammers freaked out over it, which Barbara took as proof the idea is brilliant.

Bruce drew the line sharply: this is tariffs funding productive wealth — not Democrat-style giveaways. And with the midterm convention shifting the dynamic, Trump is building a Congress of his own — not another slim-majority grind. Bruce's advice:

"... be prepared to deal with Trump for longer than the next two years."

The Firewall, the Deutsche Mark, and What London Loses First

The German "firewall" was never a law — it was a parliamentary cordon: an agreement among the other parties never to coalition with the AfD no matter its vote share. At 43.8%, the numbers make exclusion impossible. The cordon broke.

Bruce walked the history: the price Germany paid for unification after the Berlin Wall fell was dumping the Deutsche Mark for the Euro. Add deindustrialization, the highest electricity prices, mass immigration, and financing the Ukraine war — and you get a physical-economy revolt. The AfD was born opposing what was treated as an inevitable NATO-Russia war.

Barbara's message to the UK:

"Well, you guys did Brexit once. You can certainly do it again."

Test your candidates on the City of London. Don't crawl back to the EU. Drop the Ukraine war.

Because here's the stakes: London loses the Ukraine money first. German industry needs Russian energy. Brussels has no answer to the sovereign nation-state. A US–Germany–Russia industrial corridor is exactly what Britain has feared for over a century — which is why they need Russia as the permanent enemy.

That's what "Atlanticism" actually means: British brains, American brawn — Chatham House, Atlantic Council, CFR.

Canada, Carney, and the German Shepherd

Treasury Secretary Bessent compared Canada facing the US to a Chihuahua squaring up against a 110-pound German Shepherd. Carney is playing the last globalist savior. Bruce's read: Canada caves eventually — but not before the U.S. election, because they won't hand Trump a victory lap.

Susan Live from Dallas: The Realignment on the Floor

Susan waited out a private VP luncheon and came on live from the convention. JD Vance on TrumpRx polling resonance. McCormick on reindustrialization. Fetterman on a Republican stage — historic.

The realignment is real: blue-collar workers and entrepreneurs versus the Wall Street/War uniparty. And ignore the empty-seat media lie — the floor was electric, with lines in 100°F heat.

The biggest ovation after Trump himself? Scott Bessent — pure "Alexander Hamilton" energy. People love this guy.

Susan also reported Promethean meetups spinning up — Alaska, California, Pennsylvania and more — with activists saying these shows calm and focus them. Monday's Midterm Bootcamp is going to be interesting.

One more thing from the show: don't get swarmed.

On the Charlie Kirk anniversary, Barbara warned that the distraction machinery is designed to keep people from voting. "They killed Socrates." Get offline — Bruce reminded us that doomscroll pessimism shrinks in face-to-face conversation. Wear the MAGA hat at the grocery store. Use humor. Make it too big to rig — 2024's turnout killed the discreet mail-in ballot dumps.
