A Very Nice Funeral — Charles, Comey, and the Call to Putin

While the cameras were trained on King Charles in Congress, Trump was on the phone with Vladimir Putin for ninety minutes — finalizing a Victory Day ceasefire and getting a Russian readout that named Zelensky and the Europeans as the people prolonging the war.

That call almost certainly ate more clock than every minute Trump and the King spent in the same room all week.

Charles came in as the titular head of the post-WWII order, took swipes at Trump from the floor of Congress, and ended his speech with the quiet part out loud — "Nature is my god." That's the empire confessing on its way out.

Trump greeted him at the White House with Revolutionary War soldiers and a giant statue of Benjamin Franklin. Then he posted "86 47" to Truth Social naming James Comey by name — and forty-eight hours later DOJ filed in North Carolina.

"86 47" — Trump Names Comey. 86 is mob slang for kill. Comey wrote a whole book about coded incitement called FDR Drive. He knew exactly what he was doing — and the forfeiture order in the indictment proves DOJ knows it too.
The Tale of the Bees. Barbara on the old English custom of telling the bees there's a new master in the house. Trump and Melania set up a beehive at the White House right before Charles arrived. The signal was unmistakable to anyone who can read it.
The 90-Minute Phone Call. While the headlines stayed on the King's speech, Trump was on a 90-minute call with Putin. Per the TASS readout, Trump and Putin agreed on a Victory Day ceasefire and agreed it's Zelensky and the Europeans prolonging the war. Charles invoked Article 5 from the floor. Trump answered him with a phone call.
"Nature Is My God." The King opened by playing Christian and closed by giving the climate cult its real god. Same speech that demanded checks-and-balances on "the executive branch" and tried to breathe life into the Green New Scam, the Ukraine war, and the rules-based order — all in one shot.
The False Binary. Susan answered a question from Argentina about Milei and Peronism by naming the trick: for a hundred years they've sold us "capitalism vs. communism" as the only two choices. That binary exists to bury the real third option — the American System.
Stochastic Terrorism and the Brainwashed Shooter. On Saturday's third assassination attempt at the Hilton: Barbara argues this isn't the old single-handler model. It's a brainwashed online subculture, and the strategic objective was to keep Trump off the campaign trail. Her fix: bring in our own war-gamers to red-team every presidential deployment.
Boots on the Hill. Promethean Action had a 15-person delegation walking the halls of Congress this week — the same week Charles was. They put our new pamphlet Bye, Bye Globalism — The American System is Back! into every Republican office, with Democratic offices to follow.
The Midterms Are Not a Slam Dunk. Trump hasn't even started rallying yet. Susie Wiles is now on X. Vance's fraud probes are draining Democrat 501(c)(4) money in real time. The job is communicating a revolution that's already happening, to people who can't yet feel it in their paycheck.
UAE Walks Out of OPEC. The cartel's production cap broke this week. Bessent followed with dollar swap lines into the Gulf — which kills the City of London's BRICS-backed alternative-currency play that Mark Carney has been pushing since his 2019 Jackson Hole speech. Connect those two dots.
Trump Is Godzilla. Susan's image of the week: most people are living with Stockholm Syndrome inside the rules-based order — they don't even see the rules anymore. Trump is stomping through the set like Godzilla. The empire knows it, which is why this is the most dangerous moment.
SCOTUS Kills Race-Based Districting. The Supreme Court ruled black-majority districts as drawn under the Voting Rights Act are themselves racist. The map fight in Virginia gets a tailwind. The Democrats' last structural advantage in the South is gone.

Here's what made yesterday's discussion different.

Last week we said every imperial institution was cracking at once. This week one of them showed up in person.

King Charles came to Washington as the figurehead of the post-WWII order, and he did exactly what an empire on its last legs does: he tried to flip the script. He used the floor of the U.S. Congress to lecture the United States on checks and balances — i.e., put your dictator-president in his place — while invoking Article 5 to keep the war in Ukraine going.

And the Democrats stood up and clapped for him. The same Democrats who marched in "No Kings" rallies four months ago.

Trump set the trap, and they walked into it on national television. Just like at the State of the Union.

And while it was happening — while the press was busy parsing tiaras and toasts — Trump was on the phone for ninety minutes with Putin reorganizing the world.

The same week, the rest of the architecture moved:

Comey indicted in North Carolina — and his own book becomes evidence.
UAE walked out of OPEC, breaking the production cap.
Bessent extended dollar swap lines into the Gulf — quietly killing the BRICS alternative-currency play.
Trump put German Chancellor Merz on notice and floated pulling U.S. troops out of Germany.
SCOTUS gutted the racial-gerrymander framework for the South.

The same architecture, cracking everywhere at once. Charles came to Washington to ask for life support. Trump took the call but never got off the other line.

Live in the World of Principle.

That was Susan's closing line, and it ran through the whole show.

Stop locating your identity in what the algorithm says about you. Stop doing forensic analysis from cell-phone clips. Stop chasing the panic narrative of the day.

Measure everything by physics — what is actually being built in the real world.

America is now outpacing Japan in steel production for the first time since 1999. Manufacturing construction up 20%. Machine-tool orders up 22%. New nuclear plants. Astronauts back at the Moon. A pamphlet making the case for Hamilton's American System being walked into every Republican office on Capitol Hill — by our people.

That is the war. Everything else is shadows on the wall.
