Tuesday's primary broke toward Trump in the bluest state in the country. Trump-endorsed Republican Steve Hilton came in first in the governor's race — setting up a November top-two against Democrat Xavier Becerra — while in Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass was forced into a runoff, with Republican Spencer Pratt battling for the second spot.

While the press counts California ballots, the empire's wars are flaring on every front: a fraying Lebanon truce, an escalating air war over Ukraine (Rubio now warns of a "real" risk of escalation), and Hegseth telling Asia that sovereignty, not perpetual war, is the doctrine.
