First Boeing Starliner Launch of Astronauts Set for May 17th

After United Launch Alliance's decision to scrub the planned May 6th launch, the Boeing Starliner spacecraft is now likely to launch its first astronauts, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, to the International Space Station on May 17th at 6:16 p.m. EDT. This is also the first human launch atop a ULA Atlas V rocket (with Russian main engines). The Atlas system is soon to be replaced by the ULA Vulcan, which aims at partial reusability. The Vulcan scored a beautiful first launch in January.
