Saturday Class - The Homeless-Industrial Complex: Causes and Cures - July 19, 2025
In this episode, Paul Glumaz tackles the complex issues of homelessness, drug addiction, and crime affecting west coast cities, focusing
A fragile ceasefire emerged as Trump worked phones while Putin and Iran's foreign minister met in Moscow. After Israeli violations triggered presidential anger, Trump's leadership demonstrates he's focused on peace and America's economic revival, not traditional politics.
With Iran’s foreign minister in Moscow talking to Putin and President Trump and JD Vance working the phones all night, a fragile ceasefire has emerged in the Middle East this Tuesday.
Both Israel and Iran violated it after President Trump first announced it on Truth Social Monday evening.
Israel’s planes turned around from their bombing run but Trump was clearly deeply angered.
A White House source said Trump spoke to Netanyahu in "an exceptionally firm and direct way" about his objections to the Israeli strike.
Several things have become very clear to this writer over the past 24 hours. The first is the abject stupidity of believing that Trump is in Israel’s pocket or that his actions can be analyzed in the frameworks of what anyone has experienced in my lifetime, encompassing the past 70 years.
All of the antiwar critics in the MAGA movement, in the Libertarian movement, and on the left suffer from that mode of defective analysis situs.
Donald Trump is a leader, not a politician. He lives in the mode of Roosevelt, Lincoln, and Washington. He listens to and takes in all the viewpoints of the chattering classes and, most importantly the American people, and makes his decisions on the basis of creating new and better realities for them.
He cannot create the economy we need right now without a massive revision of international trading and economic relationships and peace. The most important change he is aiming for is a beneficial change in U.S. relations to Russia and China. That’s why he told Bill O’Reilly that he was most worried about the impact of any strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities on the other great powers, Russia and China.
The debt which is choking us to death is the product of our forever wars, the continuing bailout from the 2008 financial collapse, the engineered COVID crisis, and the continuous malfeasance of a Federal Reserve controlled by the City of London and Wall Street. Most fundamentally, it results from the gutting of our economic capacities and potential by the predatory globalist oligarchy and their capture of our elites. Emerging from the Dark Age which was imposed in the last 50 years means we don’t just need an economic recovery. We need a full scale renaissance with all that implies in terms of leaps in human productivity and discovery.
That means we have to have trading partners who will buy our new products and recognize that we aren’t the captured Spartans of the modern British financial empire that our post 1989 Presidents agreed to become. It means we can’t have new wars.
We continue to investigate the circumstances which led to the 12 Day War. Here are some other things which became clear in the past 24 hours:
Tuesday morning finds Mark Levin, Laura Loomer, Sen. Lindsey Graham, and the entire allegedly “powerful” faces of the so-called Israel lobby stunned and howling now at the President. Calling them an Israel lobby mischaracterizes the phenomenon. Call them the U.S. and Israel suicide cult.
Trump's speech to the Saudis in May.
President Trump’s actions are saving Israel from the modern British Empire’s imposed ideologies as he seeks a grand bargain, with the assistance of Russia and China, for a developing and prosperous Middle East. Trump is calling on each of the cultures of the Middle East to practice the highest ideas of those cultures and build, baby build. Just listen to what he said to the Saudis back in May. It forecasts what we just witnessed.
